No. The deadline to add a FA is this Wednesday I believe.
    Gotcha, thanks.

I doubt we sign anyone anyway. System too complex, who is out there who could help much? We're going with what we've got.

We've got no depth at the sf position. We better hope Kawhi doesn't get tired or get in foul trouble in the playoffs. Hopefully CIA Pop has plan for defending Durant.

I'm all for signing him, if available and we don't exceed the tax limit.
He's a good defensive player, and actually good, also thanks to his size, on one to one situations against the some kind of players we are supposed to have problems with (a la Durant and James).
One good point to do so is that he'e never been a big offensive player, so no big deal if he does'y know a lot of plays...in the limited minutes he has to play he could be relegated to simply defer his shoots (except for the absolutely wide open ones) to other players.

As long as he doesn't turn the ball over when he gets it and doesn't commit too many fouls why not.

Considering our f.o. behavior they will try to stay under the lux tax limit, so they can have some money back at the end of the season.
I believe it's, rightfully, their priority... having more money is a good thing considering next season the team is gonna be re-loaded, possibly with some free agents, and that we could also try to buy some (low) draft choices.

I think he understands that the Spurs do, and that's how they operate. If you want to do any kind of realistic player trading or signing projections, that has to be a factor.

I had hopes we would draft him in the second round coming out of college, but he hasn't exactly made himself a household name in four seasons.

Being waived by three teams in one season, one of whom is the NO Hornets, isn't much of a recommendation. Something must be wrong physically or maybe drug use? If we're only worried about the remaining games because a new player couldn't be on the playoff roster, I'd rather bring up someone from the Toros and give them a taste of the big league to reward them for hard work in the minors. And a Toro would know the system.

Signing a FA at this point would only cost 3/82 (more like 2/82 or 1/82 given that it won't happen today) of a season's salary, right?

Still, I can't imagine Pop giving playoff minutes to someone he signed in mid-April.
