    given the Spurs low budget and basically welfare status as an NBA team I think he deserves a 1 yr 8.5 million deal plus a front office..ooops I meant back office position...

    real talk I see Mr. Tim Duncan having a portfolio type career as a Spurs broadcaster, consultant, international recruiter, and academic, working on coverage of a weekly NBA basketball games on a Spurs television channel very very similar to what Mr. John Amechi does...

    Duncan was worth the max as rookie, so the last seasons he was overpaid seems to be the compensation.

    10M x 3 years, the last season a team option 50% guaranteed to save cap space the first two seasons when the Spurs will try to contend. It's the same 12.5M / season TP gets.
