Ya, I was just confused when you said qualifying offer, since that is something different & I wasn't sure where you were going with that.
the mavericks had a similar provision in dampier's contract, the last year was partially guaranteed based on performance. that's what i'm referring to, something like that or a team option would make sense for the 3rd year.

they hoisted the series to 7 games with us don't forget that, i think if they can get abit upgrade on the backcourt while keepin the main s, they're putting up a decent shot @ the championship next season tbh
too bad for them mavs that another potential great signing removed off the shelf
