yeah this contract is going to look re ed in 1-2 years, wallace won't age gracefully
WTF? i'm not even a nets fan... but seriously, wtf? 4 years for 40 million?
it's hard to decide if this is a worse decision then the trade to get wallace.
yeah this contract is going to look re ed in 1-2 years, wallace won't age gracefully
well I guess in 1-2 years if Deron joins the mavs he can call up Billy and they can both sulk together when Deron has to be on a rebuilding team![]()
lol wallace being the biggest star going into brooklyn
Either way you'll still have a fupa![]()
DH is getting traded this summer and brooklyn is no longer a possible destination where he gets dealt to after this trade. 's already broken up with the magic and it'd cause alot suffering to both sides if he plays there for another year, so he's leaving orlando this summer even at a discounted price.
yup I will thanks![]()
when was the last time the Nets had a better record/advanced further in the playoffs than Dallas?
You're just as delusional as you are fat.
2003, when their second best player was Jefferson![]()
I'd say, 2003 team, was more of a team, team that just all went good together![]()
Had a bunch of good draft picks (getting the no 1 in a sucky draft but still decent, getting Jefferson) and to top it off got Jason Kidd.
Of course they ran into Shaq+Kobe in 2002 then into HAM Duncan in 2003.
They were a team that woulda never sniffed the finals if not for how ty the ECF was in 2002 and 2003.
Didn't they face the Pistons in 2003? Of course the Pistons made the jump from really good to amazing when they got Sheed and Larry Brown and starting playing out of their minds.
Yeah they either swept Detroit or won in 5 games, can't remember except it was a lop sided series.
And yeah, before Larry Brown and Sheed, Detroit wasn't that good.
yeah they did run into Kobe and Shaq in 2002 and Duncan in 2003. That Nets team was the team that got me a lot more into basketball. I had followed it all my life since my dad like both Nets and Knicks, so we would go see the Nets vs Knicks games, but after 2002 and 2003 Nets teams, things changed and I got into it way more, but then again I was getting older as well.

Swept the middle two rounds.
nets haven't made any noise since the breakup of kidd/jefferson/martin trio imho, they've been mediocre for decade long
Agreed.
Dude already looked on the decline last season. His production can only go down going forward.
Why was everyone high on this guy in the first place?
basketballgirl25..where you been, girl?..
Shouldn't there be a rule in the CBA forbiding a player who's known for his athleticism only getting more than 50% of max dollar money if his age is over 30 by the time the contract ends ????
This kinda stupidity by the owners & FOs that ed the players last CBA indiscriminately, so in wrong.
Hit the nail on the head... Looks re ed half a season later. Enjoy the next 3 years 30 million![]()
Too bad, I always liked Wallace as a player
