LOL, so he gave back $500,000 a year just to get away from that humid sewer of Houston? Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Apparently a city whose only recreational activities are gangbanging and going to strip clubs didn't suit Goran well.

Here's hoping the Rockets can reconcile with Lowry, or we get Lin. SIGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Please let these dark ages be over soon. I'm a broken hearted Rockets fan. Broke up with my girlfriend and now my Rockets are broke. My business is broke. The least the could happen for me is for the Rockets to do well!! Please let it be so!

... so are the Suns trying to tank for Shabazz or are they going for a playoff spot. This team confuses me.

For the first time in years I feel the Suns have a smart game plan and are moving smartly to secure it. Secure Gordon, amnesty Childress, shop Gortat and sell high if he brings it, and develop.

I am pissed they missed out on Ross and skipped over Henson last Thursday, however. I understood the Marshall pick from the uncertainty, but now with Dragic on board, lots of future options via draft picks, and that they still own restricted rights to Aaron Brooks, he seems far less prudent and more like the average backup he is likely to be.

Where are the Suns getting all of this cap space from? They are at around $37 million currently, including Lopez's qualifying offer. Assuming a cap of about $59 million (?), that leaves them with approximately $22 million. And they've already committed to $14 million for Gordon, $6 million for Beasley, and $8 million for Dragic = $28 million??? What's going on here?

Got nothing to do with the city and everything to do with Morey being a ass GM. When you look up psychological disorders, or what drives someone to be a psychopath, or just flat out re ed, rocketfan syndrome will show up 10 times out of 10.

    jettisoned Adelman for McHale
Calvin Murphy 14 children by 9 women, molested 5 of them
    two les because Jordan quit
ting on the only reason you were ever relevant by sending him to Toronto
    Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley

son so basically that means its a $30M deal.
Dumb on them to ever lose Dragic in the first place.

So basically the only way it becomes $34M is if Dragic is playing at a level high enough to earn the extra $4M.

As Xylus said, this is a great contract now.

Basically, it could be said it's a 30 mil / 4 yrs contract. There is no way he gets voted in over Kobe/Paul/Westbrook/Nash/Parker and then it's up to the West team coach.

That being said, I don't think Dragic will ever play all-star game. I hope I'm wrong.

Contracts typically escalate, so they would all be several million less than their per-year average in this first year. Probably closer to 12, 6.5, and 4.5. Technically the Suns can clear more space by amnestying Childress and including salary contracted players in the potential sign/trade for Gordon. If they traded Gortat for Gordon and amnestied Childress, I think they'd have enough for another lower-tiered Max offer.

Plus they also get a roughly $9M trade exception from the Nash trade.

Babby and Blanks are redeeming themselves. I'm just still hung up on passing on Henson. He woulda been perfect
