They both could have shared it.
As argentinian I must say than Manu was great this playoffs. Maybe if he wasn´t get injured in games 3 and 4 he could have a shot to be MVP. But being realistic Tim Duncan is the real MVP of that team. Is built around him. Just in Games 1 and 2 Manu was carrying the team but Duncan made significant numbers too. 3 and 4 were awful for both of them. Game 5 was all about Horry. And Game 7 was the sintesis of the Spurs, great game inside the paint by Duncan open spaces to Gino and the other outside players such as Horry, Bowen and Barry.
T parker was too frenetic but did and an acceptable job guarding Billups and specially Hamilton in game 7.
Again Duncan deserves his MVP. There will be anothers trophys to win to Manu.
Duncan is like Jordan-Magic-Larry-Shaq
Manu is like Pippen-Worthy-McHale-Kobe
Great and uncanny partners and sidekicks...
And they still have a better relationship than Kobe-Shaq
Greetings and Congratulations Spurs!!! Just sign Scola next year, he is a real star in Spain right now.
