I mean, he was alright when the offense was not too complex and having Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Mario Manningham, and a top-3 defense will all help. Playing in the equivalency of the Pac-12 South, doesn't hurt either. They do have some tough games against NE, NO (if they're back to normal by then) and the NYG. I say 12-4 with two surprise loses (ARI or Seattle) and the Patriots/Giants
