It really is a shame that such a badass player likes MJD hinted that he would want to end his career with such a ty franchise. You'd figure they'd be bending over backwards trying to keep him happy, considering the most noteworthy things Jacksonville has done lately is absolutely nothing.
MJD signed a $ 30 Million contract extension and got a $17 million bonus. Get this, before he was a starter in this league. The Jaguars hooked this mother er up before he was due starter salary. Now with 2 years left he wants a new four to five year deal and be paid 9-10 million a year!?!?! naw!!! He's still getting top 10 money in the league. MJD is 28 years old which means he has maybe 2 more solid years left. The Jaguars are doing exactly what they should be doing. Getting rewarded for rewarding MJD early in his career.
The beauty of this is that MJD has no leverage what soever. Don't let the talking heads at ESPN and NFL network fill you with bull . The fact is MJD can report to the team or get docked $220000 per game. Guess what if he decides to hold out all year then he still has to honor the 2 years left on his contract. MJD is ED. You signed the contract honor it or off. Rashad Jennings is gonna be the new starting RB any damn ways. Keep on eye on this kid.
