To replace Layden as assistant coach, Utah has hired Brad Jones, the Toros coach.

Spurs now need to find another coach for the Toros. TJ Ford would be a nice pick for that spot.

At :55 mark, SJAX says "I think Ford is going to coach the Spurs NBDL team" so maybe he has the job, just waiting for formal announcement.

Great find.

TJ Ford and Toros seems to be a perfect fit for each other. The D-League under Spurs tutelage should be perfect to start a coahcing career. TJ Ford past with UT should help to put Toros more under the spotlights and make them more popular in Austin.
