The grunting makes it difficult to hear the ball hit the racquet, so there is a tactical reason to grunt so loud. I hate it.
Love it.
Don't really care.
It's annoying.
Hate it.
What for? You would just argue about it.

Dont really care but to me its funny when I'm watching bits and pieces.
Seems to me it comes naturally.
You wouldn't tell a runner to stop panting because its annoying. Its just something that is.
that's a quintessence of women's natural wildness but its unfair to say they intentionally do this to arouse anyone sexually, they wear too much under their skirts to really arouse anyone imho
Really? Never heard that one before.
During the Djokovič/Murray finals it looked to me that the grunts were loudest after the racket hit the ball.
Hate it. It's annoying. Don't really care bc who the watches tennis. Though I honestly do find it stupid, whether man or woman.
I thought the tennis, whoever they are, were trying to cut down on that?
There really is no need for it
Comparing getting hit at full speed by a 280 lb dude when you are running full speed and weigh 220 to tennis is downright hilarious. Plus football fields are nowhere near as amplified as tennis, do announcers even talk during play in tennis?
Doesn't bother me at all. Like some mentioned before there is plenty of grunting going on during NFL games they just don't have it all miced up if I remember correctly. And yes the grunting in tennis comes as the player strikes the ball. I also watch tennis quite often.
