    communism died of its own inborn deficiency imho, malformed economy, corrupt government etc... US might speed up its death process but it's always the internal reasons that cause the quality change imho.

    It was killed by the socialist state system. It destroyed personal initiative and GDP per capita sucked. Exactly the direction the US is headed with the lowest job participation numbers in 30 years.
