Do you think these things won't happen if Romney wins?
    Wasn't the question, tbh.

True. However, I'm still waiting for Obama to pay for my gas and mortgage.
Well, darn it, get in line...

If Obama wins re-election we will be faced with gridlock and the only thing will change in four years is we will have greater debt and more people will be unemployed. Boy, how craxy is that one, huh?

Well, if Obama loses, I'm pretty sure there will be riots in several cities.
At least those cities will be able to give people a job cleaning up the mess.

The only thing that would change that were the Republican party to stop putting tea party "no-compromise" radicals into the house of representatives.

Poison breeds poison. The more negative the left is the more negative the right will be. You either learn to compromise or you can expect nothing to change. It is the nature of politics and what keeps the radicals of both sides in check.

He knows at this point it won't happen, so I am pretty sure he will go to the high end.

The thing now, is where will the riots be when Mittworth loses?

Name all the radicals in the house on the left that have been unwilling to compromise.

Democrats were quite willing to compromise in the last budget up.

Oddly enough, polls of democrats show they generally place a high value on compromise at about the same rate as Republicans value "sticking to principles".

    Go figure.

In this case the blame for the gridlock is a lot easier to place.

The 99% are gonna take it in the ass on obamacare. The bottom 15% will get it free and the other 84% of the 99% will pay for it. The 1% will have the same quality health care they always had at about the same price.
Well god forbid tax dollars go to helping sick Americans instead of oil wars.

Meh. They won't let the sequestration happen, for all the blather from both sides.

    "You either learn to compromise"

The Repug insanity has been to take extremely radical positions and refuse to compromise. eg, the huge tax cuts for the wealthy is 2001 were pushed through by Senate reconciliation.

You of course are full of to say the poison from the Dems causes the poison from the Repugs.

Repugs have been drifting to the extreme right, purging all moderates, pledging to NEVER raise taxes (on the rich and corps), have been polarizing and dividing American since 92 when the VRWC went on its witch hunt of the Clintons, and then Gingrich's shutdown of the govt.
