In the latest installment of Spurs versus Lakers, the two teams had a compe ive -- if not aesthetically-pleasing -- affair.

This is the first game I've seen in quite some time that the Spurs played like the championship era Spurs.

I also love the defensive showing in this game. Everyone manned up well and showed effort on that end, like it was a focus. And I have a man-crush on Mills. Dude is a weapon for sure, and I hope Pop learns to use him more a la a Jason Terry or Jamal Crawford type of sparkplug. I think he's got that fire.
