Quoted for truth. They should just trade him now.
Not sure it's possible with that contract and his injuries. I seem to remember reading somewhere that he wasn't insured either...I still don't understand what New York was thinking when they signed him.

How many 3s does Novak hit before Spurs fan starts another thread asking why we let him go?
My guess is that Novak actually getting mintues will start it.

Isn't it weird we're like 90 mins from game time and still nobody has any idea if Manu will play? God damn the Spurs guard information tightly. And the media is sooo damn soft.

Probably to exploit the rebounding problems the Knicks have.

    No! No! No!

I get that KL will likely start on Carmelo and that Blair will probably be "guarding" Chandler or whoever but come on! What does he do that Diaw doesn't do better?

    This is so frustrating!

Okay okay. He has the tools but to be honest I don't trust him to perform. At all.
But I've calmed down. Pop can always give him a quick hook I guess.

Kawhi should be on Melo so Blair probably guards Brewer which means Brewer will get a career high today.

J.R. Smith is having a great year so far, and is probably the best 6th man so far. Melo will get his, but IMO he's the X-factor for the Knicks.

Hopefully Pop wants to showcase the midget so that he can trade him at the deadline but sadly I don't believe it. Diaw makes Tim better, Tim deserves to play with him over anyone else except Tiago vs certain match-ups. So annoying.

For those of you defending smallball because it's so effective against Carmelo and Kevin Durant, you got your wish. Let's see how it works.

Melo would probably body up Kawhi tbh. I think Jax is a better matchup. Sucks that this game isn't on TNT. Living out here in LA im going to have to stream it. RIP quality

Hopefully the Spurs don't get off to a slow start. The Knicks are playing well so it'll be unfortunate if the Spurs end up having to play from behind.

Manu needs to rest imo. :/

Blair will be unloaded eventually. I'm convinced. Right now they are just going to be patient and try to get Blair's value up at the same time. Can't get for him if he's just rotting at the end of the bench.

They really just need to let Manu rest. I don't see the advantage of trotting him out at this point. You know he's going to play as hard as he can every second he's on the floor. If he's got a nagging injury that just seems like a recipe for disaster.

I'd be surprised if some type of move wasn't made by the deadline to fix the big rotation because I can't imagine Pop starting Blair in the playoffs and he's clearly done with Bonner, so something's got to give. The move might just be signing McDyess (which should be a no brainer), but I've got to think they're thinking bigger than that.

spurs needs this win more than the knicks, in terms of where duncan or carmelo is doing starting the season in mvp form....

I agree. It's been obvious since Blair came into the league that Pop doesn't trust him come playoff time. He will be unloaded by the deadline.
