Too bad Martina Hingis retired... a Sharipova/Hingis match would be the next best thing to a Sharipova/Hingis lez-fest.
I think Rod can take Federer, he has to, or he'll probably never win wimbeldon... he needs to get the monkey off his back, and what better way to do that than beat the defending champ..he is the defending champ right?
Federer owns Rod . Unless Federer has a bad flu on game time Rod will lose.
As much as I hate that damn Federer I'd like to see Rod get over on him once, but you're probably right and it wouldn't even be close Rod can't get that Federer Albatross off his neck ever...I'm surprised to see Venus getting far in this tournament.
I think Venus has a good chance of winning this tournament because she is so much better on grass. I am rooting for Rod but he has little chance. Venus has a much better chance now that Sharapova is gone. Great match

Venus is finally hitting her stride. And I just knew Amelie Mauresmo was gonna lose lol I dunno when she'll ever win her first Grand Slam. And I dunno when Andy is ever going to beat Federer in a major... Roger is just on another level - the stuff Andy uses to beat the rest of the compe ion just does not work against Federer. That is frustrating to figure out.
Federer is the best shot blocker in tennis.

Federer is the Pete Sampras of Wimledon and the Jimmy Connors of hard Courts. The only surface he hasn't dominated is clay courts which almost came this year but a player named Nadal played a remarkable match to beat him.
IMHO, Venus and Lindsey are having one of a match right now.

That women's final match was... wow. I saw it when I already knew Venus was gonna win, but for a while there it didn't look like it... and as USUAL, Andy chokes it. Well, McEnroe mentioned that he had no juice left after that Johannson match. Damn it.
I had my doubts on Venus since she has struggled against Davenport for awhile. Congrats to Venus and Rod got screwed for not getting a day off before Federer. He probably would've lost anyway though.

Yeah, I watched it. Disappointed that Andy Rod was unable to pull off a major upset over already legendary Roger Federer, but so goes it. That's two years straight Rod has had to play his Finals matches on no rest while Federer, his opponent both years, had an extra day. Nice rain delays!
And, yes, tennis is the sport where yellow balls are hit. Its also a physically tough and mentally challenging sport, which is most unwelcome to the lazy and uncompe ive.

I don't get the "Serena is hot" mentality. IMO she is one of the UGLIEST superstar/athlete/models in the world. Facially, she has the biggest mouth/jaw/chin I've ever seen. Very poor skin. Her hair is worse than all the Christina Aguilera weaves we've seen in years past.serena williams is so fat shes the best athlete in her sport
