I think Green hasn't fully healed from his hamstring problems.
he's never had a good inbetween game tbh

Again, the third quarter was a disaster. The sooner Gary neals goes back to the bench the better for the team.

Tiago's scoring opportunities take a hit with the starting lineup since Tim is the main guy down low.
Tiago getting frozen out of the offense has more to with the head of the snake taking it upon himself to be the offense, than it has to do with Tim. Offensively the Tim/Tiago combo played great in the first half. Doesn't help when Green keeps shooting blanks on wide open threes when there was the odd opportunity for a teammate. Resulting in a clogged keway.

And the carriage turns back into the pumkin.

The team hasn't been right all year. Tony's playing like ass, S-jax has been nonexistent, the defense can't stop the opposition, Spurs settling for three's instead of easy two's and those three's aren't falling, Green is good for nothing, TO's lead to fast break scores 99% of the time and the Spurs aren't running teams out of the building like they were last year.

    Oh, but they're tired.

Ps- Where's Leonard's grade.... oh wait.

yeah, but right now he is missing every floater ... last season I think he at least made one occasionally ... and his missed fastbreak dunks annoy me as well

Agreed. Manu starts over Neal, Leonard starts over Green. Instant huge upgrade.

Fair grades. Right now besides TD this team is playing softer than a puppy walking on cotton.

    Leonard starts over Green.
You mean we play only 4 players?

OBVIOUSLY Kawhi will take back the starting SF spot as soon as he is healthy.

He seems to be a great teammate. Someone that doesnt get a lot of minutes but when he is called upon he is always up to the task. I really like him as a player and as a person.

I love Patty's energy. He's always cheering guys on, waiving the towel, and when we play him, he immediately hits a few 3s. He's like a Tazmanian devil when let loose. I know he's not good enough yet for large chunks of the game, but I like what he brings.

We really, really need Kawhi back. Not just for one thing, such as scoring, but because he can change a game in so many different ways. For example, if Kawhi would've played tonight, Green wouldn't have been forced to defend a bigger, more physical player than him (Iguodala). That assignment would've gone to Kawhi, who maybe could have prevented some of those fastbreak dunks that Iguodala had. And maybe Green would've had more energy on the offensive end to drain some of those 3's he missed tonight. Pop also has to stop with the dumb experimental line-ups. The Neal-Green combo at the guard position was absolutely horrible...
Agreed. If nothing else, the return of Kawhi can allow Green play at SG and Neal play as a bench scorer. It
s especially tough for Green to guard Durant, Iguodala, etc. day in and day out.

The one thing I like about Mills is that he is always active and aggressive on defense. It's not always generating good results, but at least he is trying. But Neal is very inconsistent even on defense effort.

That being said, I would put Neal in instead of Green for the last few minutes when. Both of them are struggling, but Neal is one who can turn around in a minute while Green is more streaky.

"He has to rebound better to stay in the starting lineup. The rest of his game was good." Tim VP

Why should he (grade B+) lose his spot on starting five if his probable replacement (Diaw-Grade B) has been playing lazy for several games and played at a lower grade level in this game. I don't see any bigs on the team who are likely to play better overall if put in the starting five.
