why would a robber prefer to hit an absent gun owners residence? just to steal the guns? why would the gun(s) be accessible to a robber? because the gun owner hasn't secured the gun(s)?
A key part of The Great Boutons' Gun Regulatory Regime is that gun owners MUST CONTROL their guns at all times, meaning they must make their guns inaccessible to others. Loss of a gun would make the gun owner liable for mandatory fine and jail time.
