trying to hate on Emmit cause he was fortunate enough to have Jimmy as GM. I assume you think you could have run for 4 yards a pop behind that line?
None of those I mentioned had Olympic speed and neither does Peterson, . Sayers wasn't even the fastest member of his family. Only one of the "GREAT" backs had close to Olympic jets...O.J.Simpson. Who did run on a WR 4x1 team while at USC.special RB talk with no mention of Emmitt. "But he didn't have olympic level speed!"
Emmitt Smith doesn't belong in any "special" conversation. He ran behind one of the best run offensive lines ever and was on a team where the D couldn't focus on him. All those I mentioned were the team on offense, yep just like Peterson. How many times did we see Smith 4 yareds down the field before he had to do any real running?
Not hating on Emmitt, he just doesn't compare to those I mentioned. Top 10, sure.

The Packers are 22-2 at home the last three seasons, the Vikes are 9-15 on the road in that period. It will be cold. Packers easily.
The Bengals are playing better than ever, and can play on the road 6-2. The Texans are staggering into the playoffs. But will rise to the occcasion. Texans win but won't cover.
The Ravens vs a bunch of rookies, Ravens.
The Seahawks are 3-5 on the road. But that Skins D is weak. Tuff tuff game to call. Light lean Skins.
That's what I prefer to do. So if I talk about the those backs who gained a 1000 yards in their rookie season that is a no no? Why this need to stay in a little box? that college QB who became a running back as a pro and had a 1000 yards his rookie season, why this need to ignore that "here"...?
