Again you missed the point. he could of just stood his ground. If no one is gonna swing, then what does he lsoe by standing his ground? All im saying (and of course it's speculative) he probably expected hurt feelings like he got from Charlie villanueva ... instead Melo let him get under his skin ..and KG hit a raw nerve. Melo was PISSED ...Im guessing KG could sense that and backed away ...I am not saying he is wrong in fact he appears to be the smarter guy in the situation, although a prick. I was not referring to the bus incident (were you) Im talking about on the court. Ill be honest after seeing the Kermit Washington Rudy T footage any player should be leery of rolling up on another player, IM just saying since Melo approached him ... KG should of stood his ground. After the game it made no sense ...I agree because KG didnt have any adrenaline or rage to match what Melo still had ...even if he wanted to fight. You are right the bus stuff would of devolved to a bad episode of Jerry springer ... But on the court was where I was looking for KG to stand his ground not in the locker room or the bus. Why woud his team-mates or security even allow KG to meet Melo at that point? Again my contention was that it appears that KG needled him on a topic (rumors are his wife) that he could not stand. Couple that with the elbows etc. ...Melo lost his cool ...advantage KG. But when Melo lost it at the very least I expected KG to not back away ... he wanted NO PART of Melo and it was smart Anthony was enraged ... and normally KG would smirk or irk him further ... but KG wanted no part of him it seemed. Now maybe KG was legitimately THAT focused on communicating on defense etc. ... but I doubt it. He pushed that man to that point and wanted nothing to do with the after-math. It happens.
