god damn rob ryan was the only dude I liked on the cowboys team

Jerry Jones promised us that it was going to get “very uncomfortable” out at Valley Ranch this off-season, and apparently he didn’t mean a change of furniture.
Rob Ryan now joins Skip Peete as the two least obvious places to start retribution for three years in a row without any playoffs.
The defensive coordinator has to play safeties and linebackers off the street, and he gets canned?
The running backs coach can’t keep his top two backs healthy, so he’s out?
Meanwhile, the general manager assembles one of the ugliest offensive lines ever, among other sins, and the head coach still calls plays.
If you were to list the primary reasons for the Cowboys’ mediocre ways, the GM might claim Nos. 1-6. A head coach with time-management issues while pulling double duty would rank right up there, too.
You already knew that Jerry wasn’t going to fire himself and hire, say, Mike Holmgren to run the day-to-day duties. He’s cons utionally incapable. In some cultures, it’s called “dictator-for-life.”
As for Jason Garrett’s job security, at least as far as play-calling goes?
Jerry needs to make at least one more major move with his coaching staff.
Come to think of it, he could turn a fire hose on the whole lot and he’d get no big argument here. The group hasn’t exactly distinguished itself.
Ryan never seemed like a good fit. Too much ego to suit Jerry.
He certainly seemed a poor choice his first year with the Cowboys, when he shoved his entire playbook down the players’ throats for the first game, which just so happened to be against his brother, Rex. It was too much, too soon.
He backed off this season out of necessity, what with all the new guys coming and going. You’ve never seen so many guys out for the season. Marcus Spears actually admitted at one point that he didn’t know some of the replacements on Sunday.
Jerry likes Garrett for all the right reasons, not the least of which that he defers to his boss. If he really wants Garrett to succeed, he’ll make at least one more major change this off-season to his staff. And if he wants to pretend he’s making his head coach uncomfortable while he’s at it, we’ll go along, too.

The only coach on the team worth a damn. Jerry Jones is dead to me. He wants nothing to do with coaches who won't jerk him off.
And canibspur is re ed.
Cowboy fan has no hope of a super bowl until Jerry dies.
What's wrong with Cowboys fans? Rob Ryan is awful. He's always been awful, and teams just keep hiring him because fail to look passed the name an actually look at the production. Dallas spent too much money on defense for it to such as badly as it did. I don't care about what type of injuries they had; it's the coordinator's job to worth passed that. He isn't the only one who needed firing, but it won't be hard to upgrade from him, either.
Aat people thinking it matters that players love him. Players love immature coaches and hate disciplinarians. Whether that coach is actually good at his job has very little to do with that. Just look at how much Bucs players loved Raheem Morris.
The Ryans are overrated tbh, if this means the Cowboys can get Monte Kiffin, I'm all for it.
