In certain situations perhaps. The moments where they need iso scoring, but Gay overall was pretty inefficient and it shouldn't be too big of a deal net-wise as they probably improve defensively some too.

Well they had their best playoff run without Gay so I don't know how much that hurts them. All that matters is net gain. Their defense should be even better which means they won't need as many points. Gay wasn't exactly scoring a ton or efficiently either..
