    Real talk: If Kobe has stopped chucking for the rest of the season, the Lakers will easily make the playoffs. The best defense against the Lakers used to be allow Kobe to chuck and freeze out his teammates. Then, even when Kobe checked out of the game or the opponent tipped the ball away and one of his teammates got it, they were so cold and so rhythmless that they couldn't do anything. Take that away and these Lakers can now actually take advantage of being by far the most talented team in the NBA.

    Pretty damn good. Has enough perimeter skill to thrive offensively on the perimeter. Rebounds well enough to survive in the paint on D. That alone is rare in today's league. Fits really well into D'Antoni's system. He had a high ceiling coming out of college, so his blossoming didn't come out of nowhere. He might be shooting flukishly well right now but becoming an Odom-lite seems like a reasonable expectation all of a sudden.

    They did other way. They had plenty of money to spend, so they sign Gordon and Stuckey for +10mln and Villanueva for 7.

    If the Lakers make the playoffs (which is still a big IF, and is more of a statement against the ty teams ahead of the Lakers right now than it is on the Lakers talent)...they are one and done. No cupcake teams in the playoffs.

    Yeahh, you know... He starts every sentence with that. Must be a NJ thing. He actually handles and even sounds like Bynum when Andrew was 19. Problem is Clark I believe is 25 now.
