tl;dr

I will never not love this franchise.

It has to do with the unabashed ridiculousness of it all. Everything is so wonderfully bad as to make it thoroughly entertaining.

The first one's a modern classic (cult classic might be better), the second is like you describe here, but all the ones after are just like 99.9% of all action movies with zero to offer. I could check what's playing at the theater on any given weekend and spot a movie JUST like them

the franchise, i fkn hate paul walker....

the other characters in the franchise are more interesting then that tool...

would like to see more of vin diesels crew side track stories and the asian dude....
