    Impressive class for Texas State.

How the did you guys pull James? He has an impressive offer list including ND, USC, FSU, and others.

You mustve missed the game in November. Who won? My memory is failing me at the moment tbh.

Grades. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt make it to their campus, if he does though its definitely a great get for them.

Makes sense if grades are an issue. Ole Miss looks like the only SEC school to offer, so options were slim.

I do believe he has an eligibility situation, but from what I read the general consensus is that it's a feasible fix.

I don't consider him the best get though, I would say Dila, CJ, and Tyler were the STEALS.

In all seriousness, I think after the blue chips the rest of the players are a crapshoot tbh. For example, both Jalen Rhodes and Aneas Henricks were 3 stars when they were committed to Texas Tech with Tuberville...when Kingsbury took over he took away their scholarships and they came over to UTSA. The following day they had been downgraded to 2 stars. Ive heard other fans of CUSA teams complain about the same thing too, that if a player commits to a non-Power 5 conference they get downgraded a star. Unless youre in the Top 25 I wouldnt put much stock in class rankings tbh, cause these recruiting sites dont seem to do as much homework with the 2-3 star guys as they do with the blue chips. I have a Rivals subscription but because I like how much UTSA material the guy running it comes out with not because of the rating system...Id rather watch our recruits film and come up with my own opinion tbh.

Never would I have thought entering into the WAC, UTSA would have a better football team while TX State would have a better basketball team.

TXST Basketball is horrible, we need a major upgrade in that department. And the football team took a complete makeover the day after the New Mexico State Game; especially on the Defensive side of the ball. A majority of the Brad Wright's FCS Recruits from this 2012's team are transferring out or dropping football all together, I think the total is over 10 guys now.

Hey BobcatSoldier.....nice work putting together your thread! On paper, it looks like Texas State put together a nice class and hopefully it will translate to the field.

Exactly!! And it can get even more bizarre. Quincy Adeboyejo was a 3 star WR when he was committed to aTm. When aTm loaded up with WR recruits he decommmited and then committed with Old Miss where......he is now a 4 Star. Now how is that for bull ratings methods?

Hope Texas State has success. I would not be shocked in 2 to 3 years they are a bowl bound team.
