We should sign him and then have him play for the Toros.

sounds like he's just using us as leverage tbh
Not if he's mentioning us in the same breath as the Bobcats.

Looks like it'll be a homecoming with the Cavs. Sorry Cavs owners, Oden isn't going to help season ticket sales.

If a 15th roster spot open up, I like the idea of Oden. I can't see a downside to such a low risk, high reward move. Sign him now, help him rehab, see if he can play next training camp and keep him if he can. If he can't, then you waive him. Seems pretty straightforward.

If Oden can play at all, he automatically will be at the very least a league average center and likely a top ten defensive center. His size, length and anticipation alone raises his floor pretty damn high. As long as he can run the court without his knees exploding, he's going to be good.

i could take him or leave him. he's probably gonna get hurt again. spurs have baynes. he's not even gonna play again until next year. if he stays healthy though, i think he'll be a really good big. he'd be on a cheap contract, and he's still pretty young. spurs would be deep at big, so those knees would get plenty rest.

I'd throw a 1 year contract with a team option for a 2nd for Oden, I don't think Bynum will take pennies on the dollar for his services. Bynum's knees are shot.
