i basically agree but Phil has the upper hand. He knows that LA has his requisite number of all stars and future HOFers to be succesful for him. He knows the Lakers got $100 million spent on two blocked shots (which keeps their fanbase happy) but that $100 million is going to hurt once the new luxury tax kicks in, so the Lakers FO will get desperate. Plus he's the only human, past or present, who can manage a championship out of Kobe. Also whatever issues he has with Jim Dolan Buss, he can take it out on Jeannie by wearing his hemp ring and smashing her asshole.
