2009-2011, not healthy/our D sucked
2012- first time healthy since 2007, our D was average.
2013- Healthy? Elite D.

in 2012 our D was below average.

Kobe owns the Spurs in the playoffs, not even the biggest Spurs homer could deny this.

It doesn't really matter though. Lakers have won 11 out of 15 and they are playing at an elite level.

Statistically, Kobe has sucked against the Spurs since the 2008 playoffs. No Spurfan fears him anymore. In fact, I usually hope he shoots a lot, because it means he'll be missing a lot.

Though I understand why Lakers fans would rather not play OKC. The Lakers are too slow to deal with OKC's athleticism. They'd get destroyed with how slow and bad on D' their backcourt is.
