my point is, that injuries are a part of the game, you dont recognize a players potential or judge how good he is if hes injured. call it luck or hard work or what ever, but tmac never quite cut the mus .. there is no comparison between tmac and kobe, t mac never even got out of the first round in orlando..
I already marveled at kobe's longevity and the duration of his great play. his numbers are remarkably consistent throughout his career, at least the last 14 or so years of it. i gave him his due props.

McGrady was the ..... just sad the injuries destroyed what we thought was a for sure HOF career .......
but i prefer to watch tmac over kobe, he has so much variety of moves he can score on you anywhere on the court that it look easy to him cause of the lazy swagger

best player of our generation dude ain't even the best player on his team through 96-04 tbh
He didn't instantly show greatness like Shaq or Duncan in 1997, but from 2000 onwards, he was easily No. 3 in the league (Shaq & Duncan were better). You've got to give him top billing from 2006 - 2009 though.

He is arguably (Shaq & Duncan come close) the best player of our generation. If Lebron rings multiple times, the post Jordan era will belong to him. It's as simple as that.

tmac was da true motha er when he was in prime tbh. played an all-round game and might be the closest thing to lebron the world has seen in the past 20 years. dude was injury afflicted through the majority of career, and he spent quite a few years in houston where he was always the receiving end of blames and criticism, when he was obviously a scapegoat. had tmac joined the spurs or lakers or if he hadn't got traded to the rockets would've had a more successful career than ray allen at least

i think bron was already the league's best player from 07 onwards. the best kobe we've seen was the 06-07 version of him when he could drop 60+ pts in a game, but even at that time he wasn't often considered the #1 of the leauge while duncan was still in his prime. dude might be the league's best scorer but he ain't close to being the best overall imho
