Calling Perkins serviceable is overratting him![]()
Ibaka is a world-class help defender who gets blocks frequently. Perkins is a serviceable one on one defender who's primary purpose is to frustrate other centers. In other words, he attempts to make it harder.
In case you haven't checked Ibaka is beginning to open up his repertoire. He's knocking down midrange shots on the regular and his post game is slightly but surely improving at a promising rate.
at you insinuating the notion that this frontcourt is overrated. They are what they are at the moment: serviceable.

Collison has post game and is a very good defensive player and rebounder. Perkins is effective against big slower post players, like Bynum or Duncan. Ibaka is a great shotblocker, has a great midrange jumper. Durant is one of the best tweeners to ever play the game. Thabo at SF is solid too.
They matchup bad when Miami played Bosh at 5 and LeBron at 4 and Battier at 3, but their front court is very solid imo and they got to eliminate the Spurs, also the Lakers at some points - for which was built. They failed to contain Dirk in 2011, well neither the Heat had answers.
having porkins means the opposing team will not score at will in the paint no matter what players they have (pau, duncan etc...), for which alone he's worth the $ he gets paid tbh
Wake me up when Ibaka becomes a consistent offensive threat. Seeing Thunder fans clinging to hope that Ibaka becomes a scorer to make up for trading Harden is hilarious. Ibaka is what he is...a stupid monkey who does nothing when someone pushes his in.
At least his 20 siblings got to enjoy their Thunder NBA Champions shirts last year, tbh..

unless NY make some noise in the playoffs this year, their frontcourt would be considered the most overrated of the decade, or maybe even the past two decades tbh. NY's frontcourt might be even superior to that one the lakers had through 09-10 it looks like
Ibaka speaks 5 languages. Stupid?
so are you a New Yorker or Floridian? I'm confused. Bandwagon guy? I've probably seen Miami in person more than you.
Conveniently a fan of teams in all 3 major pro sports that win les. How lame. In 3 diff states. Lol
