Timbers beat San Jose last night. The team looks pretty good.
Dallas is playing awesome. The bench is the only concern. That and there fans taking them out! God bless

FC Dallas is number one in power rankings. They are winning and working out their issues. Good sign. God bless
San Jose is a ing mess. How the did that team luck their way to the supporters shield last year I'll never know. All of a sudden Gordon and Lenhart coming through as the idiots they are. HATE that team.
I agree. They're a bunch of punks and their supporters are no better. Some of them attacked a Timbers supporter in Portland before the game while he was in his car last weekend.
Yes. There is much mutual dislike for the Quakes! I wish Lenhart would just fall off the face of the earth.
Oh hey, my Sounders finally got a win. even with our 1 win, we still have more road wins than PDX. lol. even though that's not really saying much right now. smh
Great win yesterday at KC! We have a great team this year!
Montreal is playing great too. I've been very impressed with them.
Silvestre out for the year with a torn ACL. !
Fc Dallas is having a great season. Our MVP is kicking them up, again!! God bless
thanks son
Tough win vs RSL last weekend
But 2 weeks ago we lost to NYRB
Thirerry Henry killed us with an amazing goal![]()
Rogers fully out plays a game and all 25k cheered for him

I wonder if the showers went on business as usual for the rest of the team...
If that guy was straight, no one would care. The guy can say "I don't want to be known as the gay player, the gay soccer guy, the gay dude" until he is blue in the face but it's just now how America is. Gay marriage may be legal in 1/5 of America but it's still not considered "normal" by society. It is still a deviant behavior in the eyes of society. If you get offended by it, go drink some bleach.
And why don't I have a Timbers skin???
RSL still better. But Sounders need to get their crap together if they want to make the playoffs. It'd be nice to at least get a consistent starting 11 out there to get some chemistry. But yes, as much as I hate to say it, the Timbers look real good. Porterball working well.
We'll find out how good RSL is soon enough. We play at Rio Tinto in the semis of the USOC.
We haven't been on the road in over a month so I'm not sure just how good we really are. I'm extremely excited about our future though with Gil and Garcia. Garcia has a legit shot at being the best player in the MLS within 5 years.
It's going to be fun when we play you guys. I would like to road trip one of those matches at Rio Tinto.
Article: Real Salt Lake's system leads the way http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/u...uth-mls-062713
More American clubs need to develop a robust academy system. This will both;
A. Make the MLS into a watchable league (which it isn't now)
And B. Improve the US national team
It's going to take time, but it would appear that RSL is on the right path, as is soccer in general (in the USA)
I should add that it's not watchable for me
Quality is just too far off from the elite leagues around the world, plus I don't have a home team to cheer for.
But I definitely believe it (MLS) will get there. You'll know things are turning when the MLS can keep American talent here, and it stops resembling a schoolyard game of kickball
...and the aforementioned development of the youth system, tbh
Give watching the Timbers a try. You might be surprised.
