How can you be a SPURS fan and be a Manu hater????
There's a lot of em on these boards for some reason. Saying that he's washed up. The guy can still ball with the best of em when he wants.

Very happy to see him start getting back to his ballin' ways.

Thought it was a little interesting what Tony mentioned in his interview with BS, about how the team is treating Manu a little differently this year, giving him even more rest/games off than usual in the hope that he's at maximum freshness level come playoffs. I had kinda assumed it was mostly legitimate injury issues that have kept Manu off the court so much, it sounds like there was a real game plan there. With Manu getting back to this level, and Kawhi's development, this team has some real potential come playoff time.

Pop has been sitting Manu even if he gets a niggle.

I recall back in early January Manu was fresh enough to dunk.

There's a balance between resting too much and keeping in shape to be ready to play big minutes in the playoffs. Obviously if you rest too much you won't be in good enough shape for the playoffs. The big 3 always seem at less than maximum freshness in the playoffs and I don't think the answer is necessarily more rest. It might be the opposite.

When he is healthy I fully agree.
