    lakers missing the playoffs would be a huge financial hit to the league and the league can't afford to let it happen, so they'll do everything they can to ensure them a playoff seat at any cost. lakers get 18 freebies by far vs. kings' 5, you must have turned a blind eye to this if you think the lakers could've made a place in the top 8 w/o refs help

    Lakers with 25 assists on 33 field goals. As a result, team shooting 56%. Thats what happens when one guy isn't chucking 25 shots. Even if Kobe shoots efficiently, but jacking up so many unassisted shots, your team simply doesn't get in rhythm, so when the time comes, they aren't going to knock down shots and their shooting numbers suffer. By having everybody involved, everybody stays warmed up and will be ready to fire. This is why Lakers have played better when Kobe gets big assist numbers, and not necessarily when he scores a lot (of course, its great for them if he does both, but assists are the key). A team playing good, confident offense usually fuels aggressive defense/rebounding/hustle too.

    One of the worst experiences I've had is going to Laker games front row. Those seats are notorious for non Laker fans who just have free tickets or want the experience. I remember going to a Laker V Denver game in 2010 and these two rich dudes infront of me talked about the history of Staples Center and how the owner made his millions. They didn't spend one second watching the game, not even a milli-second. Me and my friends started chanting D-Fence! and they turned to us and said can you guys keep it down. Of course I told the guy to go himself and he actually used the word 'preposterous'. I thought it meant some kind of dinosaur or some ....googled it and realized it meant you're outrageously offensive.
