CBS dude Matt Moore posted on twitter that Spurs defensive percentage allowed has gone down from Jan-March since the 2011 season. This year is no different.

The stats say we simply are not defending as well as we were earlier in the season. Spurs Suck in March should be the new slogan.
Depends where you split... if it's over the last 20 games, we're 5th in defensive rating...

Over the last 10 games, 15th (very likely the Portland game killing us on this one)

    Over the last 5, 8th

Over the last 3, 5th again...

So apparently we're playing good D again after TP came back...

For comparison, last season during March we were ranked #9 in defensive efficiency.

Matt Moore is a great writer, but another person who just leans wayyyyy too damn on stats. Stats lie big time.

Another great defensive 2nd half... holding the Clips to 17 and 23 in the 3rd/4th and winning with stops again... it isn't always pretty, but the results are there

Another good defensive outing overall... despite the result and the Heat missing their top 2 players...

Thank you Pop for waiting until the 4th quarter to put Kawhi Leonard on Ray Allen until the 4th quarter.
