Shut the up, Laker gots. The most disappointing team of ALL TIME is the 2013 Lakers, and that's way funnier and more undisputable than the worst "one and done" of all time.

A championship in any sport should never be viewed through a lens of failure. The Mavs wanted a le, and they got it. It will look even more favorable down the road that they were the (first) team to beat LeBron in the Finals, depending on how many rings James walks away with when his career is over. Dirk's one of the best players in recent NBA history, but I doubt when his career is over people people will say that he "only" got one. He has a ring. Period. That's more than you can say for Charles, Ewing, Malone, Stockton, etc.

fallacious comment. mavs wouldn't have retained the le even if they had kept TC. the loss of ambition hurt the team more than TC's departure did and miami have been a different team since 11. we could've won that series in four games had we not blown the 10pt something lead in game 2, and the mavs made us pay for our complacency. mavs were lucky enough to steal one before the eventual completion of the miami dynasty tbh.
