Kobe is loved/hated the most of any NBA player, even more than Lebron because Kobe's had years to get going.

I don't know anyone who would buy a ticket to see SA play Dallas just because Dirk is playing. Same with NY and Melo. People will buy tickets to see Kobe lose.

dirk's the reason why fans are still watching their games imho. they're all mavs fans rather than fans of dirk himself, don't get me wrong, but dirk is like the only relic of their glorious years. i doubt fans would give two more s about them mavs than the pelicans or kings w/o dirk on board tbh

but you still see tens of thousands of fans attending AAC for mavs games. most dallas citizens have faith in their team, otherwise they would've also become spurs fans since before 06 tbh
