I will gladly dye my hair red and buy myself a Matt Bonner jersey if he delivers in the playoffs, but I'm confident he won't.
Well it would make the Championship DVD/Blu-Ray interesting... I'll donate to the Ronald McDonald House to get myself one of them Matty B cups. I need a drink, tbh.

we should have an agreement that every ST poster dyes their hair red if Bonner helps the Spurs get to the WCFs, tbh..
15-20 MPG of Matt Bonner in the playoffs is just what the doctor ordered.

Eh...too easy. Now if he helps them past the Thunder? I will dye my hair red, write red rocket on my forehead and post the picture on ST.
Bonner did find his stones in that contest. Maybe it's finally his time.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. But fool me 1000000 times...?
What are you guys talking about? He lost that contest and missed the shots when they mattered the most, just like he always does.
Tbh Bonner's showing in the contest would have been good enough to win it the past few years. Irving was historically on fire for that contest.
The Red Mamba played well tonight, tbh. Hope he can keep it up as we will need him.
How many times have we heard or read this before...and again, BEFORE the playoffs?
Kings are a bad defensive team that played 2 bigs, the one guarding Bonner reluctant to leave the paint
de cola also doing the rookie year cory joseph with bad penetration and bail out passes to bon bon
Bonner is the easiest player to game plan for and once the playoffs start and he chokes he makes it even easier
Playoff Bonner means 4 on 5 basketball.
Would you have rather him been 0-5 tonight? Like it or not, with Diaw's injury, he will likely see some time this year in the playoffs, so let's just hope for the best.
i was just thinking the same thing...this could be Bonner's big playoff season. He's fully rested, he hasn't played enough to get into a slump mentally, so if he starts hitting some shots in the playoffs, he may just get hot!
props bonner................... the haters will become believers................ blair & bonner 2013 playoffs x factors..............................
^ nah. Baynes > Blair & Bonner.
It always has and it always will. Every summer I hope and pray that this is the summer the Spurs come to their senses and jettison this guy. While it's clear that Bonner is a severely-flawed, non productive player, who is merely taking up a roster spot, I'm not going to get my hopes up again that the Spurs will suddenly come to their senses this summer and finally get rid of him.
You going to do your playoff team scouting report this year?
You are thinking of the RRT preview I do. I went back and forth about doing it but I decided not to this year. The gnsf up here were especially bad this year so I felt as if my efforts would be casting pearls before swine. I could probably put together a West preview but the whole Jack situation has dampened my enthusiasm quite a bit. I'll think about it.
C'mon man, don't let the incredibly stupid idea of a "gnsf" keep you from posting your stuff. This is a PUBLIC forum. Your reports are enjoying to read and it would be an absolute waste not to post because of some silly "elitism."
godDAMMIT!!! Every year someone makes a thread like this. And bonner chokes. I was hoping this year no one would make this thread, and he would finally do well... sigh..![]()
this thread was half-joking, tbh, I'm surprised so many people took it seriously..
I get that, I mean what can we do with matt bonner other than laugh at this point![]()
Or when he retires, more like![]()
