Why the grey uniforms instead of white?

Is it just me but whenever I think of the grey uniforms, Danny Green shows up in my head. Can't picture the other guys in grey unless I really work my neurons

Can one of you photoshop savvy peeps whip up a photo of the alternate jersey but with black as the main color? Would love to see the difference. But before I go, I'll leave with this cuz I can already picture a troll replying with...

I made this when the Atl. Jerseys first came out. It was done in like 5 mins so it looks like major crap, But at least you get an idea!

They should wear the grey ones in LA. Why not?

I have yet to see the Greys but in the start of the season against the Clippers, the Spurs wore their Home Whites on the road for that game. Clippers wore their Alternate Blue Uniforms.

I wish the Spurs would use their classic white jerseys at home during the playoffs. The grey jerseys are very boring looking. I guess the franchise likes the way the media perceives them as boring that they felt they might as well dress boring too.

The Grey is a throwback to the Original Gangster jerseys from back in the ABA Days.
