He didn't even try for the rebound.
Looks like somethin went in Abaka's mouf
He didn't even try for the rebound.
If you watch the replay carefully you'll see that the buzzer went off just before Ibakas put back attempt even hit iron. There was nothing to rebound.
Actually, look at Durant here. An illustration of the difference between a leader, and just a really good basketball player. Watch from 0:10 to 0:30 or so. Fisher - scraping his guys off the ground. Durant, standing around doing his best Kobe, the " I can't believe they dared miss that shot that should be mine" look. I hate Fisher just as much as the next Spurs fan, but he's a leader. Kobe's never been spit at it. Looks like Durant has a fair bit of learning to do it...
Brilliant assessment. Because it definitely takes more than 2 players to help a guy off the floor an the true measure of any leader is whether or not he rushes half the length of the court to be the third. Durant's beyond half court by the time Ibaka misses that shot. What do you want him to do? Ignorant ass assessment on what makes a great leader.
Shoulda thrown a lob tbh.
sons, that's not disappointment from missing, that's definitely a sniper shot... but not the kind from a rifle. Jason Collins was prowling around the rafters, holding the whole building hostage as he was wacking it. He fired off a few rounds right as ibaka went up and caught him right in the face. that's why the Spaniard held his hand to his eye, cuz some got in there.
danny green is garbage who somehow looks decent in spurs system (pretty much like roger mason jr).
Green plays better Defense than RMJ.
