We can sign either Dwight or Paul outright. We make the call to both LA teams offering Lin + Asik ($17 mil) in a S&T. First team that responds gets the S&T, the other team loses their player for nothing. Dwight + Paul + Harden + Parsons = 2 EZ
CP3, Harden, Parsons, a PF and Asik would be a top 4 team in the West.

Blake Griffin should demand a trade to OKC Thunder.
What a starting lineup of fake thugs OKC will have.
Unless he wants to sign for chump change he cannot go to the Lakers or Heat. Since they are both over the luxury threshhold they cannot even do sign-and-trades. In fact, I believe, even their mid-level exception is reduced. He's not signing for $5 million or less even if means winning 5 rings. OKC could do a sign-and-trade for Westbrook which would probably work, but does that make OKC better? Maybe, but no way they pull the trigger on that.
Chris Paul is never gonna go to Houston because Kevin McHale is a piece of .
he'll probably stay in clipperland, he aint winning no matter where he goes.
I agree. Though I hear if they get Dwight, McHale will be gone anyway.
Where did you hear that? Les already confirmed McHale is back next season at least.
So basically a lateral move for CP for less money than what the Clips can offer?
How is it a lateral move when the Rockets are younger and improving? Clippers are who they are except for Blake.
If it makes CP3 happy, Clips should trade Griffin. Sadly Jordan and him have similar offensive game skills, and Blake really hasn't improved much in that area since he entered the league. Ironically, Clips should consider a ZoBo-Blake swap. ZBo was on the trading block this past deadline, so why would Memphis not entertain the idea?
The poster suggested that the move would make Houston a top 4 team. That is what the Clips are now. Also, the Clips' core is not exactly old.

Houston isn't a good fit for CP3, tbh.... the Rockets play at a very high pace, whereas CP3 likes to play at a slow, deliberate pace.... plus McHale is too dumb to make it work...
Everything is a lateral move as long as LeBron & Co are in their championship primes.
Point taken, but if you are Clips management what you really want is a chance to sell more home playoff tickets. So sure the team doesn't win a championship, but a deep playoff run is profitable, certainly more than a first round exist.
I'm amazed at people who think Blake is some type of amazing playoff performer. Dude's game is entirely predicated on him out jumping everyone else out of the gym. That doesn't work in the post-season. But it's true: his KIA commercials are hilarious...

dude, griffin is 24 zbo is 31..
ZBo was already on the Clippers a few years ago and was a distraction and locker room cancer, I doubt they'd want him back.... not to mention, ZBo's only getting older while Blake is young and has plenty of room to improve....
