Next year should be a good year for you all. If y'all would of closed out on the Lakers in the regular season I think the Rockets would of had a better playoff run.

And for the record in perfectly fine going forward with Lin and seeing where he's at in 2 years. Bev can hold it down if not. Still need star #2 on the roster, once (if) that happens, I think Lin can thrive in a lesser role.

It honestly isn't; incredibly lucky Portland took the Oden, we managed to snag the Sonics from Seattle, and that KD didn't bolt for LA or Miami for some outrageous contract.

I am one of those fans. I really think that Asik should have been much more involved. He was getting pretty solid looks and overpowering Ibaka regularly and exploiting his pick and roll defense. It also could have slowed the game down a bit while the Rockets had the lead. I suppose I can understand why McHale didn't do it though. I remember one possession when Asik had the ball on the low block with Durant guarding him and proceeds to start backing him down. I am expecting 2 pts or a foul, when he inexplicably passes the ball out. What is worse.... passes it to someone who isn't even there.

If we stand pat, I might agree with you. Unlike Schaub, Lin can be less if a focal point if we upgrade elsewhere. Sure I'd like a better PG, but I think we should focus on getting a better PF and a star, regardless of position.
McHale will still up by trying to play him and Harden together when it just won't work.
Oh, and det Parson needs to get PAID.
