I am reminded of an experiment conducted in Cambridge that saw chimpanzees grouped together in a holding environment. One chimpanzee was given a key, around his neck, to a container of bananas. That chimp had access to that container at his whim. The other chimps befriended him and coddled him to win favor, so they too might have access to bananas. The key chimp grew to loathe the others, seeing them as having ulterior motives. Most of the others, even the parents of the key chimp were shunned by the key chimp out of disgust. However when a second key chimp was placed into this environment, the two key chimps had no issues with each other after a feeling out period.
It's believed by me that Kobe is the key chimp, and that he feels his parents are the keyless ones, wanting what he's been given. The parental bond is gone, replaced instead by loathing and distrust. Kobe has closer relationships with peers than with family for this reason. You've likely heard Michael Jordan mention how others feel he should pay for dinner when they go out, and Charles Barkley has said as much. It's in the genetic make up of the negro to "get mine" and they don't mind if you "get yours" but they don't want you thinking that part of what's theirs can be yours. They don't trust the group, and that distrust is stronger than the distrust of strangers. They know, without a doubt, that the other Negros are akin to the keyless chimps. They know that the other keyed chimps have no ulterior motives, at least none that involve sharing what's "mine".
Like the Cambridge experiment, the negro male has a tendency to gather a group of "friends" that are quite likely more corrosive to his wealth than the familial group would have been. However, the friends make the negro male feel powerful, and so like the chimp, the seemingly powerful negro male will thump his chest when he's with his posse, and the posse will milk the "hero" for all he has, eventually moving on to other keyed negro males. The posse begins to feel, through extension, that the wealth of bananas is theirs by right, and when it's taken from them, they often fail to cope.
Such is the mind of the negro male.
