Been saying year after year that Duncan will be the best player on this team until he retires and that is holding true. Parker plays on one end, the guy is a defensive liability. He also has come up smallest in the largest of moments during the playoffs. You could never say that about Duncan.
TP is a finals MVP which means he has done it on the largest stage and been the best player on the court, even with prime Duncan in the mix.

Are all the Fakers fans as dumb as you, on average? If so that must be significantly lower then the overall U.S. population, but no surprise given the type of superficial bandwagoners that crawl out of the woodwork when the Fakes are doing well.

Dude is decidedly average as a defender... and that's being generous. I won't put the Thunder series on him, but he's unquestionably the reason for the Spurs losing to the Grizz. That was his opportunity to show he had gotten over the postseason demons from earlier in his career and he failed miserably.
So Mr. Estevez there are what 32 teams in the league, so around 64 starting or back-up PGs I'm thinking that to be considered an average defender he would be ranked between 20 and 40 of those. I'm thinking he's around 15 to 20 as a defender among pgs.

Just for grins I think that I'd like you to name 20 pg's that are decidedly better defenders, to qualify your calling him average and that being generous. I'd say Rondo, Hinrick, Corey Joseph, Aaron Brooks, Darrin Williams, Chris Pual, George Hill, there are a few others that I'm forgetting but Kid sure isn't anymore. So I'm curious lets take a look and see what you come up with. There are a good number that I'd say are pretty much about equal on defense but tony does play on both ends and isn't a bad cover.

I haven't seen much of him with the nets but with the Jazz and sloan he was a physical defender that liked to body up alot off the ball and punish the lighter guards.
