A contrarian is a person who takes up a position opposed to that of the majority
I'm a fan of your me-against-the-world mentality tbh, but the D-Rose point is just dumb. Sounds like you're just pulling a Skip Bayless here

A couple months ago I would've agreed with you, but he's been cleared to play for 2 months now...in the time he's been injured we've seen plenty of athletes come back and excel from such injuries. He's been doing 5-on-5 for awhile now, can elevate off both legs, and is generally not observed as slowed or "injured" in practice. Dude needs to nut up and get on the court

He is kind of being an overly cautious pussy, Ive agreed with that before. Just think calling him a quitter, selfish, lazy, etc is dumb. Hes never displayed any of those traits in his career...people are actling like hes Eric Gordon or something. Ultimately the Heatles will beat them regardless, so why not get another extra 6 months to recover and come back next season mentally ready? Now if he keeps this up even next season Id agree with the hate.

He is being selfish, tbh.... he has teammates getting spinal taps, puking in garbage cans during timeouts, playing on plantar fasciitis, etc. and he's fully healthy and refusing to play for no good reason.....

What's going to change next year that'll magically give them a better chance against the Heat? He's good enough to go now so he should be out there. He only has a finite amount of time in this league b/c his game is based solely on athleticism, so he needs to make the most of it.

Its not for the same reasons a pussy like Eric Gordon sits out. Seems like he genuinely isnt ready mentally and is worried about his career. Hes still out trying to be a part of the team, whereas someone like Gordon just detaches himself. I dont see the problem with giving him until the start of next season tbh.

Nothing, I doubt they beat the Heat even next season. But why go out there for a couple of weeks and a second round exit if he doesnt feel ready? Just give him until next season imo.

People would have given him until next season if he had come out and said months ago that he was done for the year.... even that's still ridiculous considering how quickly various athletes have bounced back from their own ACL injuries in recent years, but he'd have been hated less.... instead, he's been cleared for months but is still lying, being evasive, and refusing to play but also refusing to kill the hype about a return, so he deserves the hate, tbh....

Agree to disagree. If it was a physical problem I'd understand.

Rose is a pussy, a leader don't do that PERIOD, everybody is pretty ed up with various injuries. By this logic and to protect their careers and because Miami is gonna win, they should all give up and rest.
