The NBA players' heads must be held by pen springs. They move around so much with the slightest contact. Watch MMA, knockout punches and kicks, heads don't move that much.

Oh there's definitely some flopping going on with that, but the MMA guys are expecting to be hit in the face and brace themselves accordingly, whereas NBA guys aren't really expecting it so they're maybe more relaxed when they get hit.

Doesn't stop them from putting on an Emmy winning performance when they realize they've been hit though
