Oh, and 8 new Heatfan troll accounts.
If Miami wins the first 2, they win in 5. If not, they win in 6.
So first post-merger
Hate to predict this, but someone is going to sustain an injury. The karma dictates it.
Spurs frontline really cant play much, if at all better than Indy's bigs did. They played a nearly perfect series, and still lost.
The problem is going to be how ty the Spurs guards are on defense. Indy's guards were able to consistently make Miami work. Parker, Ginobili, Green, and Neal won't have the same success against Miami guards (Wade in particular) that Indy did. SA's only hope is that Wade plays as awful as he did against Indy. He won't.
Hmm. Spurs in 7. Heat struggles with size and unlike Indiana, San Antonio has O-fence and a bench.
Finals MVP anyone? I'm picking Parker again btw.
Spurs might win one game if Leonard hits some 3's... I just don't see it. Heat in 4 in a horrible Finals
Nah, the Bullets beat the Sonics in Seattle in game 7 of the 78 Finals

Miami is going to be tired. Miami went thru all that trouble just to beat the Pacers in the ECF. Imagine what they are going to go thru with the Spurs. Spurs in 6
Spurs should win because they have been playing the best basketball throughout the playoffs. I know Heat nuthuggers will disagree but the Heat only played one good game against the Pacers which was game 7. The Heat barely beat the Pacers. And those free throws in game 7 definitely helped too. So I think the Spurs should win because they are better than the Heat. With that being said, the Spurs have to remember that the calls will not be in their favor and they will also be starting the NBA Finals on the road for the first time in franchise history. Even if Lecrab and his two lovers win this, it will be their last. Heat nuthuggers need to enjoy this because it will be the last time the AAA will be loud and sold out for a while.
I think that's being optimistic. No less than 4 imo.
Well upstairs they have spurs in two tbh so I guess I'm already pessimistic.
If you count out the Spurs, you are obviously a Justin Bieber type NBA fan and don't know anything about the NBA and should go drink some bleach.
Is that a real take? Parker/Green >= Hill/Lance on defense.
Game 1 - Spurs; Game 2 - Heat; Game 3 - Spurs, Game 4 - Spurs, Game 5 - Heat; Game 6: Spurs.
I think this Phillip guy is a troll, DPG..he said with proper coaching Bosh could hold his own in the post against prime Shaq..
Philip is not a troll. He actually has some solid takes...usually. But he's prone to massive homerism and lately the takes have gone down hill.
Agreed. That's the only way we win it imo, and since that's highly unlikely, I say Miami in 6 unfortunately.
Only reason it went 7 is cause it took Spoelstra 7 games to FINALLY start doubling Hibbert in the post. If they'd done that since game one, it would've been a sweep tbh.
The Mavs split the first two but lost game 3 at home and everyone thought it was over but look how it turned out. This is one of the few times I will root for the Spurs. The last time I rooted for the Spurs was when Shaq and Kobe were married. Believe, damn it! The Spurs play great on the road and at home. They aren't scared of Lecrab either.
lol clowns in here actually think that bum gary will play any significant part in the finals...
diaw needs to play better and take the shots they dare him to shoot then looking at making an extra pass
I don't know about that. Outside of the Heat, the Spurs are the only team I'd give a realistic shot to to win a game 7 of the Finals on the road and we probably are due for a road team beating a championship caliber team in a game 7 period (off the top, I think Mavs over Spurs in '06 is the last), but still. To win this series, they probably have to pull it off in 6 . . . which is what I'm picking them in.
I'll say this though: I'm concerned that the Heat's shooters collectively (Bosh, in particular, who always kills the Spurs anyway) are due for at least some progression to the mean. High caliber defense or not, they've performed well below their usual standards in the post season and being able to play smaller more frequently against the Spurs will only improve their spacing.
