That was such an incredible shot by Parker, I hope he's getting laid somewhere right now tbh
Making excuses Spo? so soon?
I just come out from Heat Forum. They are depressed.![]()

On the video, the ball's out of Parker's hands with more than 7 seconds left (I see the shot released at somewhere around 7.3); from 31.3 seconds left to the time when TP actually released the ball, it's exactly 24 seconds. Spoelstra needs to look at things other than the written play-by-play.
Exactly!!
23.9 seconds for the shot to get off.
2.1 seconds to bank off the backboard and go in.
Come on guys...
Should I buy Preparation H for Spo?
They missed a travel call on Dwayne Wade, when he went up and down with the ball, but it went out of bounds so I guess it was alright...
The officials were superb for the most part.
some of you people take way too much to heart, he was using hyperbole, go to nba.com and re watch the press conference
Lebron Also said something about 24 secs
This:
4th 0:32 Lebron makes 2nd free throw
4th 0:06 Parker hits bank shot
32-6=26
As others explained, ball bounced on the rim before it went through...
(in the final minutes of the game, my live stream chrashedso i had to live we live update via smartphone. first thing i noticed was the time difference discribed above...)
Spoelstra just showed the difference between him and a real coach. Not to mention, he loses anyway. That shot was CLUTCH but not a game winner.
How about the wade's clear offensive foul, and those travelling that wasn't called?
How he went under lebron Hung and got the bounce Fckn amazing
The officiating was fair, but that doesn't mean it was accurate. The Heat lost when they shot and rebounded better. Cannot say the officiating did anything substantial.
Well at least, the ''Stern wants my Spurs out'' conspirationists can off. This league has some really bad refs but there is no intentional will to give calls in favor of big market teams
You guys are idiots. He obviously didn't really think it was a 26 second possession. He was simply saying it felt like a long time. He wasn't complaining.
Stop being stupid homer fans that hate on crap for no reason.
He didnt say it in a bad way. I just saw the press. He was expressing what he felt. And it would have been OK since probabley the whole scene takes longer than 26 seconds.
But he didnt seem to be whining.
look at a lot of his tip dunks. i swear a lot of those things are right on the rim and he never gets called for it.
Spo is correct people. we held the ball for 23.99 seconds, literally, then time still came off as the shot went towards the rim, hit the backboard, rattled around for just a bit, coming for a total of somewhere like 26 seconds
You are exactly right. This is why he said it -- because the play-by-play says this:
But even though LeBron made his FT at 31.3. The Spurs possession started right around 31, and Parker got off the shot at around 7 -- so 24 seconds.00:31.3
[MIA 88-90] James Free Throw 2 of 2 (18 PTS)
Parker Jump Bank Shot: Made (21 PTS) 00:05.2
[SAS 92-88]
