To be fair to DMC, he wrote that while listening to 30 seconds to mars while he was cutting himself

Right, and every writer at ESPN predicted the Lakers in the WCF last season.
Howard isn't even happy in Houston. Maybe he'd prefer a Kevin Love type spot where he gets big numbers with no pressure to make the post season.
What makes you say that? On the contrary, in an interview the other day he said just the opposite and it was clear as day from his expressions that he meant it.
He's made comments in his 1st season that reflects the static between the coach and himself. He thinks he's better than he actually is, so when every play doesn't go through him, he's not happy.
You'll see, he's a wanderer.
“This isn’t their life and I have to do what’s going to make me happy,” Howard said. “I have to do what’s going to make Dwight happy. In the long run, all of those businesses or whatever they know where I’m going to be. I’m going to be here in Orlando and I won’t be hard to find.” -DH
^ don't think so highly of yourself. I wouldn't let you sit on my back
Harlem is a great poster because he brings the good takes on the reg tbh....dude understands the game.
He does have an uncanny understanding of the game. Much like myself if you don't count like all the bad predictions.
DMC, that may have been true in the past and may be true to an extent now but the desire for self interest prevails and points in the direction of team player at this point in his career. I think he has changed, but even if he didn't he knows that his only chance at something is to follow along.
Damn man, trying to copy Clipper Nations schticks now? LOL
^As long as he finishes it mid-June,,,otherwise dj will be shinin' shoes right next to his Pappy.

You should be shining those shoes already, Dale, the Lakers are out of any possible playoff scenario.
Harlem is a great poster, and his knowledge of the game is great.
Nonetheless, Howard is NOT having a monster season, same numbers as when he was with the Lakers, only (nearly) 2 points per game better.
Just a better team. Or, more to the point, a team with a better record, due in part to all the fake freebies that scrub Harden gets.

You can make an argument on that in terms of what you define as "monster" year. Despite just a modest jump in base stats, he is actually doing quite a bit better in advanced stats. He has already surpassed last year's WS totals despite playing 13 less games (more games to be played), his WS/48 is about the same as his last year in Orlando. Other than BLK %, his numbers are back to his post-injury Orlando days. Are those monster numbers? I would say they aren't, but they are unquestionably better than last year.
Just addressed that. Howard is getting is a boost only due to all the fake freebies given to Harden. Unless you think that scrub Matt Bonner has EVER, in his best year, been the + - King?
Of course not. Scrubs only benefit from playing with good players or system, real or league provided. So Harden's falsely inflated stats mean jack. Howard is the same overrated player he was last year.
+/- have very different meanings as WS, and Bonner was really never that good with WS in his career.
Harden's FTs are his way of gaming the system, and it helps his team win, so it's not inflated, it is what it is. Inflated stats, from a base stat pov, is to have an extremely high pace ala the Nash Suns. Even though the Rockets does have that increased pace, the advanced stats take those into account.
This is not his best season, but it is undoubtedly a better season than he had last year, and arguably by quite some margin.
Sup Thread, getting ready for tonight's basketball games tbh?
