Crowd was half-empty and still sounded about as loud as the Heat fans

THANK YOU for starting this thread. I LOVED hearing this . YOU Miami ,,!, from all of us here in San Antonio! Loved the way the PA did not need to play the tune to get it started, we know how to take a on a city with class.

As a Ravens fan, I've been pretty ticked off at the Heat fans for band-wagoning onto that song. I'm glad to see it thrown back at them.

That was freaking great. I couldn't tell where it started exactly, but bravo to whomever it was. And the chant was much louder in the stadium than it sounded on TV, even though folks had started emptying out.

Lol the Ravens didn't start that chant. Its happened in the college games..i.e football and basketball..I've heard the Wisconsin Bagders football and basketball teams do this the past few years.. any college teams have done this for quite some time..none the less it was awsome to hear the Spurs fans trolling the out of Heat fans..Go Spurs!!

It doesn't matter. I didn't call it the Ravens' chant. But it is a part of their culture, and it has been since the Ravens started to take control of the AFCN. I've always associated it with an underdog. To see a favored team like Miami get showered with it doesn't feel right. Had it been Golden State fans doing it, I'd think it would have made a lot more sense.

It just feels like Heat fans were like, "Super Bowl -- winning fans do this? Sure, let's do it too. By the way, go Ravens and Yankees!"

Heat fans hear this before, during, and after games, and now they're gonna hear it in their nightmares.

The flourish on a wonderful, delirious night for Spurs fans: Busting out Miami's beloved "Seven Nation Army" chant to celebrate the Spurs' 113-77 win:

That was crazy. I heard a few people down low do it, then suddenly EVERYONE was doing it. I laughed so hard before i even got a chance to join in!

I have never witnessed such a natural organic trolling ever in my life.

unfortunately....the chant kept up as fans were leaving and i THINK it may be here to stay. Which is unfortunate because its easily a top 2 gay chant in sports.

As a Broncos fan, hope we get some revenge in the season opener. Should be a good game. Sorry for off-topic.

The White Stripes are from Detroit so I believe it started at UM games and then a lot of teams have picked up on it.

We have a Game Thread going already in the NFL Forum. I'm already excited. Hope to get two championships from my teams this season.
