He won't injure it further but will not be as effective. Pop will side on the side of caution and sit him in the 2nd half.
Spurs are losing game 4.

Read my IM to you when you get a chance, please.
He just needs to stay loose and hydrated.
I thought he was a game time decision? If the injury was even a slight concern, why would he already be decided on his status?
Spurs will lose game 4, this place will go into meltdown with worry about Parker and Spurs. The Spurs will bounce back in game 5 and Parker will look much better.
A hamstring strain, even a mild one is no joke. It's not that strong of a muscle and severely limits your moving and explosiveness. It doesn't really get warm either. We will miss TP's quickness i'm afraid.
Who wins the award for most negative Spurs fan? Rascal or Hater?
I'm mostly concerned about playing an injured player in game officiated by Bill Kennedy.
That's good news.
This.
But only if Parker's injury is not worsened tonight.
Don't be quotin' me .
So with the loss of speed... does this turn TP into Kidd?
rascal isn't a spurs fan tbh.
Don't count on it. He will be settling for jump shots and won't play in the 2nd half. James will have a huge game and the Spurs won't get as many good open looks from 3 point land. Spurs will be losing at halftime by a good margin.
Kidd runs the break better.
It's not a lack of faith in Tony. It's appropriate fear of a hamstring injury.
My friend is a friend of Nicolas Batum as he met him few times previously in France and in Dubai.. He hangs out with him occasionally when they're in the same city and is in touch with him every once a while. He messaged to ask him if he spoke to TP and the response was: "He told me that it hurts him but it's the finals! he will give it his all" (the chat was in French so that's a translation)
Pop said last night on NBA TV that it was basically up to TP whether he plays which means he's playing. We need to force Miami to account for him regardless. I suspect Miami will have a "no TP" strategy in their hip pocket regardless as well, probably some type of all out blitz/trapping approach on the replacement. We should be prepared (regardless x 3) in this chess match and Miami "no TP" strategy probably is boom/bust and therefore high risk if we can break the pressure.
Parker scored 6 points in the 30+ point blowout, as long as the ball movement continues and the three ball doesn't completely dessert us, we got this ish!
The Heat have devoted a ton of defensive resources to making sure Tony doesn't tear them up. It's not that the Spurs can't win without Tony, but if the Heat don't have to scheme for Tony, there won't be the same kind of good shots to be had somewhere else.
Timmy is going to have to step up. We have a matchup advantage down low, we should get Timmy a lot of touches down there.
, that was funny.
In spite of the negative posters saying Spurs will lose, the Spurs will win game 4! TP will play probably limited minutes & will probably be a distributor if he can't go full force! I have a hamstring pull myself and it's painful, but I don't have best medical attention that TP has and he will be fine! He played with bruised calf in GS series and he was fine! Go Spurs Go!
Love this one!!
