Taking charges and hitting 4-5 from the arc, one of them in the last minute to seal the win. Are we sure that isn't Robert Horry and not Britton Johnson?
After a series of missed San Antonio free throwsOMG... it's a curse!!
If Britton Johnsen is in shape and moving better than in the past, he could be a player. Anyone know where he played last season?
He played for the Idaho Stampede in the CBA and averaged 18.2 ppg.
Johnsen played for Idaho in the CBA last season. If he can shoot in the NBA like he did there, he might stick this time around.

I kinda had him written off after his mission -- didn't seem to have any real desire. Probably has kids to feed now.
A 6-foot-10 small forward who can shoot from deep? Sounds like he could be at least worth a training camp invite.
Interesting.
If Mike Wilks signs elsewhere, Andre Barrett is a safe third point guard. He'd make Parker and Beno work in practice.
I wonder if Denis "Ershor" is actually Denis Ershov, Karulov's teammate on Moscow Khimky? If you get any pictures he's difficult to miss -- about 7'3", rail thin and ghostly white. Like an undead McHale after a few turns of a rack.
So basically he'd good enough to be a victory cigar...

Britton is a SF? I thought he was a PF.
His numbers with the Pacers this past season where not too impressive.
Yeah, has to be.
There's 17 players listed on the Spurs' roster. I wonder how many of them are actually there. Last season, the RMR listed a lot of players on the Spurs that were cut before the camp started.
Nazr's six-foot-three brother and that Russian giant would be interesting to watch play.
On a side note for anyone who cares (other than me) Noel had a solid game for having a shoulder injury. The Sonics are converting him to the 3, so it will be interesting to see how that goes.
The 3? , the Spurs might want to see how that goes.
I did watch him a little bit yesterday. What are his prospects for next season?
still unfortunate he couldnt find a home with us.
good luck to him. hope he makes it to the NBA.
Yeah, it's interesting because this past season some NBA teams were looking at him and asking him to bulk up so that he could play the 4/5.
But the Sonics are practicing him and using him at the 3 only. Today was his first game playing the 3 for the whole game in his life.
Holy crap. The Spurs have Alhaji Mohammed on their summerleague roster.
That dude is gonna make me rich.

URGENT BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP
I am Alhaji Mohammed Abacha, the son of the late
Nigerian Head of State who died on the 8th of June
1998 while in active services.
Following the sudden death of my father, General Sani
Abacha, the present Civilian Government has thrown my
family and I into a state of utter confusion,
frustration, and hopelessness. I have been subjected to
inhuman physical and physiological torture,
incarceration by the security Agents in my country. I
was only recently released from detention after been
arraigned before the Federal High Court of Nigeria for
an offence committed by my late father.
The in bent civilian administration of Chief
Olusegun Obasanjo has intensified his probe into my
late father's activities while in the office and he
has frozen all our local and foreign accounts together
with other assets of my family as a retaliation for
what my late father did to him when he was alive as
the Head of the Military regime in Nigeria. As a
matter of fact, we have been declared bankrupt and
they are not relenting to make us poor for life.
As a man that is so traumatized, I have lost
confidence with anybody within my country as all those
who benefited immensely during the regime of my late
father have openly abandoned all my family.
MY REASONS FOR CONTACTING YOU.
I got your contacts through my personal research and
out of desperation decided to reach you through this
medium.
You must have heard over the media reports and the
Internet on the recovery of various huge sums of money
deposited by my late father in different Banks and
security firms abroad. Some of these banks and
security firms willingly gave-up/divulge their banking
secrets and disclosed to the present civilian
administration of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, all my
family's cash lodgement and monetary transactions with
them.
Please my dear, I repose great confidence in you and I
hope you will not betray my confidence in you.
I have secretly deposited the sum of $20,000,000.00
with a security firm abroad whose name is withheld for
now until we open communications. The money is
contained in a metal box consignment with Security
Deposit Number.
I shall be grateful if you could receive this fund
into your Bank account for safekeeping. This
arrangement is known to you and my junior brother
(Abbas) only. So I will deal directly with you. I am
proposing a 20% share of the fund to you for your kind
assistance. I shall provide for you all the do ents
of the fund deposit with the security firm, and raise
a power of attorney `to enable you claim and receive
this fund into your bank account.
Also this transaction demands absolute
confidentiality. On no condition must you disclose it
to anybody irrespective of your relation with the
person. Remember, Loose lips sinks ship
I am looking forward to your urgent and positive
response via my email above.
Best regards
Alhaji Mohammed Abacha.
That game you watched yesterday (wasn't it against the Knicks?) he was pretty messed up physically. But he's getting healthy. Quite a few teams wanted him on their summer league teams - I only hope he can at least get to vet camp this year. He's a good guy and a good friend of mine. I talk to him everyday.I did watch him a little bit yesterday. What are his prospects for next season?
Considering their logjam at the 3, I must conclude that the Sonics have lost their collective minds this summer.
Or maybe they're going to lose some players.....?
They keep saying that they have seven roster spots open. So I guess they are anticipating losing people.
@ Marcus
He's still young, isn't he around 25? I'm sure he'll land somewhere good.
